Hand Crafted...

Lux Aromatica soy candles, salves, soaps, perfumes and other aromatherapy delights are hand crafted entirely from natural ingredients. Working from my home-based Rhode Island candle kitchen, I blend my product bases from American-grown soy wax, beeswax & botanical carrier oils, and formulate my perfumes from essential oils.

My ingredients have been carefully researched to ensure sustainability. With the exception of my beeswax salve, all my vegan-friendly products are come from botanical sources, without the use of any petrochemicals, coal-tar additives or synthetics.

Eco-Friendly...

As an eco-conscious and health-aware person who appreciates affordable luxury, you'll know these candles are made for you as soon as you light your first one. You'll find the candles are cotton-wicked for a clean burn that uses all the wax without waste, and you can recycle the glass containers or re-purpose them after washing with warm soapy water.

Who needs lots of sexy packaging that goes into the landfill? The minimal outer packaging is made from recycled, reusable or biodegradable materials. Peel off the label and toss the tube in your compost heap, or better yet, use it as a seed-starter! You're doing something good for the earth while doing something good for yourself!

Aromatherapy...

Candles are both a mystery and an answer. They satisfy an atavistic need for natural firelight. Their glow softens the edges at the end of a rough day, or lends elegant ambience to a social gathering. When scented with essential oils, they elevate mood, invite relaxation, and soothe away tension.

The slowly melting wax dispenses essential oils into the air at a steady, pleasant rate. Soy's low melt point preserves the integrity of the oil itself, allowing the aromatherapy benefit to fill the air.

Feeling a little dusty in your attics? Soul need cleansing? Aromatherapy, the use of the essential oils harvested from flowers, leaves, bark, resin, wood, and roots, is the most ancient of medicines ~ a wonderful accompaniment for acupuncture, tai chi, massage, exercise, cuddles, confession, a good cry, and things of that nature.
