Lux Aromatica candles are delightfully free of petrol or coal-tar derivatives, meaning no artificial fragrance or added colorants. Eco-Friendly...As a self-admitted nerd who loves to learn, I devote countless hours to researching my ingredient sources, to ensure they are sustainable and responsibly harvested. Then come the burn tests: I test and wick for the cleanest burn, that uses all the wax in the candle, without any waste. You can recycle the glass containers, or re-purpose them after washing with warm soapy water. Finally, my candles are thoughtfully priced so that you pay for good quality, usable product, rather than lots of sexy packaging that goes into the landfill. The minimal, eco-friendly packaging consists of mostly recycled fiber. Peel off the label and toss it in your compost heap, or better yet, use it as a seed-starter! You're doing something good for the earth while doing something good for yourself! Aromatherapy...Candles satisfy an atavistic need for natural firelight. They are both a mystery and an answer.
